A couple takeaways...

The contract extension process was already in the works before Cunningham arrived - Interim AD Ryan Hayes and President Pinto were working with CLF. John's role was more getting the private donor ends met.

Army came about when they had a change in their schedule and reached out to UC. Cunningham was working the phones prior but no takers - either they didn't want to play us due to our good team or the schedules just could never mesh. Credit to Army for reaching out to us.

Seems like a good guy but time will tell. I'm glad he's finally doing some PR instead of staying low key behind the scenes.
