Thats what 99.998% of the people say when hearing JMU is playing Towson, Albany, Richmond or William and Mary on some regional station. Or if you win the CAA and even make it to the IAA nation title game.
Enjoy your season, ooo thats right!!

I don’t really care what a Marshall troll thinks either. If Marshall football is so exciting, why do a few of you spend so much time on our boards? I come here for information about my team, not the schedule of another team. Dukeman2 is just another pathetic troll who thinks he is much more cleaver than he actually is.

Man, imagine if Dukeman cared even a fraction as much about JMU as he does about G5 teams?

Dukeman is obsessed with FBS and has small man’s syndrome.
A select few posters think the way to push JMU to FBS is to withdraw their support until JMU makes the leap. This is a ridiculous approach. The more level headed folks are enjoying the journey even if it means staying FCS longer than we wish.
I remain hopeful that JMU will be with Marshall, App, Charlotte, ECU and ODU someday but know this is a long long shot to happen because leadership at those schools lacks the vision to see the sum would be greater than the parts.

I'm hopeful of the same thing.
With this covid situation we're in a silly world. Everything and nothing is possible.
Do I think we have been too selective? Yes
It is what it is. I don't think the current admin, meaning Alger & King, will go after anything unless it is near perfect.
I'd be WAY more excited about a regular season home game versus ODU, Marshall, ASU, or ECU versus anyone we've played at home during the regular season in the last decade.
I'm glad for the home and home with Weber, but that does not compare to the teams listed above. As a compromise, I wish we'd at least do a home and home with NDSU - but for some reason our admin/program does not want it, or can't make it happen.

Agreed. Especially about the current silly season. But all this shall pass, hopefully sooner than later.
Go Dukes!!!

Good get by App St and Marshall. I wonder what TV ratings will look like considering there is less competition for TV games. You have to think TV networks are scraping for anything that can get eyeballs like live football gets. Will the game get as many eyeballs as the normal SEC Saturday CBS game? Probably not. Will it get way more than these teams have ever had? Probably.
QB Thomas is a good college QB and fun to watch if you haven’t seen him. Not a great thrower and not a great runner, but good at both which is hard to defend and that is a big reason why App has been so good the past few years.

SEC games get 5-6 million viewers. If we got half of that I’d be over the moon excited. App having the magic little ranked number next to its name should help draw some casual eyeballs and Marshall is a pretty well known G5 program, for its good football and obviously due to the plane crash tragedy and movie.
Hopefully App doesn’t lay a big turn on national television.
