That was really special to see, two great and respectful programs on national tv in the prime SEC spot.

I'm glad we have a couple more games against each other, but I would like to see this become a regular matchup.

You know, there's room for 1 or 2 more football programs in the Sun Belt...

Trust me, most marshall fans would rather join the SBC than be stuck where we are. It's not the CUSA we joined in 2005 and it's time for a change.

I don't know about joining the current sun belt, but I would love to see a new conference that includes most of CUSA East and Sun Belt East teams.
Doubt that ever happens brother, would take two conferences agreeing with each other in almost every topic and waiving fees. We have major leadership issues in CUSA, that alone is a reason to leave. If we could talk WKU into going with us as a travel partner, I don't see the rationale on why not, excluding fees etc. Our league just gets worse every year since Cato left, the media rights are the worst by far among the G5, Bowl destinations are going to follow, the 5 hold overs didn't add enough value to maintain, UTEP has been a mess since Price left, USM gets moving some once every 4 years now which is a shame considering they are not soo much different than us, Rice is never going to rise up, UAB and us currently looks to be the only ones doing anything good. You have LT that seems consistent, MT couldn't be consistent if they tried, WKU had a nice run and now is down some, FAU will go downward, FIU who knows, UNT is up and down like a trampoline, UTSA same way. Thats all we have to hang our hat on against the SBC, one or two bowl slots that is a little better, but that won't last.

So much this. The Sun Belt isn’t going away and if we want to be affiliated with their best teams then we just need to join them. The difference is I wouldn’t take WKU, the travel partner would need to be a football priority with a large fanbase. Insert JMU.

Hope your kid never has anything like that happen to them on national TV only to have some ******* get on a message board to make fun of them. It's crap like this from aholes like you that make we wish we weren't even associated with your crowd. The experience yesterday in Huntington was a far cry from the experience we get in Sh%&t'sboro.

Agree, that poor kid felt bad enough. I honestly thought it was low class of CBS to keep zooming in on him after that. Like WTH man, it was a turnover, just leave it alone.

So happy to have App State back in Huntington. It’s nice to be involved with a team with an actual fanbase. Under normal circumstances there would have been a crowd of 35K there yesterday, and I’m sure App would usually bring at least 3k to a game like that.

Thanks and believe me we are just as happy to be back. For some reason the tickets weren't released for sale until he first of last week. Looking forward to the games to come when the stadiums will be rocking.

Lets be clear here, if the roles were reversed and that moment happened to Georgia Southern, App fans would do the same to them.

It's why your rivalry week is called "Hate Week" and also why the Sun Belt invited both of you guys at the same time rather than just one.

Also I have 2 notes.

1) Marshall's Barstool account made that....so this is awkward.

2) Maybe karma wouldn't clap back so hard if your boy hadn't done this:

I felt sorry for the kid but not anymore. Karma is a b.

Haha that’s hilarious. Don’t understand the fuss from App. Looks like the player has passion, but of course he’s going to take some flak.

Gonna disagree, but haven't been a conference with either school.

The SB. Could drop TxSt, simply because they are a better fit in CUSA west and would probably be happier there.
Then SBC could bring in upto 3 CUSA teams.
My picks would be Marshall, WKU/MTSU, and USM.
That would would be a solid compact conference.

I'd be happy with a Tex St Marshall swap and stay at 10. Nothing against the Bobcats as it would be better for both teams and bring balance to the East & West.
