Wish it could be a full stadium for this one.

If there was ever a year to do college gameday at Cincinnati it would be this season - fewer teams playing and all the national love Coach Fick and our Bearcats are getting. Probably doesn't hurt Desmond Howard's CFP prediction and Herbie is a Fick fan. It may make more sense when we host Memphis depending on what else has happened at that point. The storylines would all be there - defending AAC champ against runner-up for rematch of the potential 2020 AAC title. Good way to promote the conference too.

All true.

The downside though would be missing out on tailgating and students on Campus Green as the backdrop. And if it's the chosen telecast that day too, there is nothing that matches Nippert at night, packed full and roaring with fans who aren't socially distanced.

If UC and UCF are undefeated the gameday will be at UCF.

Exactly.. in some ways I wouldn't want our first College Gameday to be this year anyway as much as it sucks. UC is going to be "top 20" good for many years to come.. our chance will happen.
