I didn't think it was possible to have 25+ guys out for contact tracing with one positive test.

Every program is a rookie at dealing with this crap.

I hope that CUSA will move their CCG back to December 12th but if they won't do it so Tech can play Baylor they won't do it for this game.

I mean.. we implement contact tracing and sticking to the conference rules, which is why we had that many sit out. Only 2 positives last week....

Meanwhile you guys continued to have practice while waiting on contact tracing results. Good job.

Taggart didn’t say if all the positive tests were by players or if members of the staff tested positive too. He added the 11 guys who tested positive are “not around anyone else” and that the program is working with student health services on contact tracing and were waiting on “some” results from Tuesday’s follow-up testing.

Did you seriously resume practices before completing contact tracing and testing?

Also, what testing method are you using and if someone is initially positive do they perform a confirmatory test?

Why the need to shoot so many tweets off saying the game was happening then bail last minute? FAU admins fumbled this one out of the back of the endzone. I don’t see FAU trying hard to make this one happen later in the season either...given they’ve already apparently made their conference championship game.
