Exactly. Our defense shat the bed.

We have a 3-deep roster, so Tech will definitely be there Saturday night.

was still an entertaining 'pins and needles' game as usual with those guys....plus, I win a few $$$.... 03-wink

I know I am commenting from the winning side of this, but can't we agree that was a crazy entertaining game? Man, I left the Rock with my jaw around my shoe laces. What a finish. I will be rooting for you guys the rest of the way especially against Tulane.

I still think that pass in the endzone for USM was a TD. It appeared he had control until the end when the La Tech defender knocked it loose. But I'm not a ref and maybe there's an angle I didn't see.

I don't think they reviewed it either.

It would have been upheld b/c there was no camera view that proved he had possession.

You guys have reloaded at QB. You won't miss JMar. Holtz is a rock. Always a consistent winner. (USF were fools for running him off so soon.)

USM fans better hope more games than not end in a loss this year....or you my get stuck with this baby of a head coach. Losing hurts but sometimes it might not be the worse thing to happen in a season like this.

Tech/USM wasnt the only TV ratings to have a major drop. This is the reason p5 conferences are paid the big TV dollars

I believe when a player leaves his feet and goes to the ground he has to control the ball all the way through. That includes after going out of bounds and the video clearly showed he did not do that. The ball pops out at the end.

Why do think most all the ratings were down?

Comparing P5 games on National TV to G5 teams, I pretty much knew the ratings would be down. Plus most SEC and B1G fans aren’t even watching football until their conferences start playing.

Thats the way these P5 fans are, they don’t care unless it is SEC or B1G

Were you surprised how much Miami dominated Louisville? Louisville put a hurt on WKU and I thought Louisville would at least be competitive with Miami

I was expecting Louisville to beat Miami but that's when I thought Western wasnt as bad of a team. After this past Saturday.....

Western is a bad team right now, both sides of the ball and dealing with some problems inside the team. So after WEstern's game against Liberty I wasnt as shocked the way Miami beat Louisville.

I think the ratings were down because people COULDN'T FIND THE GAME! With all due respect to UTSA & SFA, their game ran WAAAAY over in time. And ESPN2 just kept showing the UTSA-SFA finish long after the Tech-USM game had started. The finish of the UTSA-SFA game overlapped the start of the Tech-USM game by about 30 minutes. I was going nuts and finally tuned in on ESPN3? (or plus) to see the Tech game via streaming.

If you watch it didn't "pop" out. The defender knocked it out of his hands after they hit the ground IIRC. Could be wrong. I've slept since Saturday night.

Maybe it's because I live in the Texas market, but Texans were stuck watching the UTSA-SFA game to the bitter end....and dude, it was the game that I thought would never end.

The good news is, I was able to stream the Tech-USM game while everybody else in Texas was stuck watching the finish of UTSA-SFA. But the larger point is, I'm pretty certain we lost a lot of potential "casual fans" when they turned on ESPN2 thinking they were going to watch LA Tech-USM, and instead were forced to watch UTSA beat up on an FCS school.
