It is a bs chart. That includes records from when teams weren't in FBS. TXST wouldn't be over .500 and GSU would be higher after you take away the rough years prior to FBS. Even GS would drop if you took away all the FCS golden years. App St may actually be better though.

If GA St has proved the naysayers wrong, those FCS posters must hate what App has done the last six years.

That board was toxic.

The funny thing is that I like watching FCS football. I like any football. I enjoyed Road trips to South Alabama and Jacksonville State and SC State. But AGS had (has) this cult like following with the idea that only FCS is real football. It was surreal to read the posts and responses most days. I also miss CAAZone which was a different kind of surreal.

Please notice that it's the fans of a school that's only gone 3-3 against Ga. State who are making the most fun of them. App State fans haven't said a word. I wonder if that is because Ga. Southern fans know Ga. State is a threat, and App State fans aren't worried.

Who cares. I agree with your assessment though and from 2009 it was the fringe element of one fanbase pouring gasoline on AGS and lighting fires. It is fun to go back and read though. Simpler times.

We are 61-17 (.782) as a FBS program (60-12 .833 since the 1-5 start).

What Georgia State has accomplished in 10 years is remarkable. I mean, they started from scratch with nothing and were able to leverage a large media market, school population (student fees) and corporate sponsorships into their program so that they can claim 3 bowl appearances and a win over UT. If you can name a program who has had a more successful start I'd like to hear it.

Y'all don't go back and forth with Ga State fans because y'all are already busy doing that with UNCC fans. They are your Georgia State.

There's an 8 page thread at the top of CUSA's board right now where all you App fans are engaged in the exact same smack talk that Ga State and Ga Southern fans lob at each other.

The metropolitan city school with a start up program who flaunts their media market and student population vs the small town football school with a deep history and actual success. It's literally the exact same rivalry just North Carolina themed.

USF for sure. They had reached a power concerned and a top 10 ranking by year 10 I think. They had an incredible rise.

Congrats Georgia State. Y'all have given stAte fits at times. A couple of years ago you had me walking the concourse cussing under my breath and I don't cuss. You have had some outstanding players. Keep working on your stadium. Get it right. That was huge getting your own place and getting out of a place way to big. Glad you are in the SBC.
