Looks like he goes to Oscar Smith High School. They are the defending state champion in the highest classification in Virginia and arguably one of the top 2-3 programs in the state.

I think this kid is a special talent.

Had to find it on Google Map. Gate city is located in the extreme SW Virginia. I’m not sure about the collective level of talent in that area but Carson’s abilities are indisputable. Very versatile with breakaway speed.

Gate City is where Mac McClung went to HS. They play in the same conference as Abington (Martin Lucas' HS). Very rural.

Gate City is the same hometown as viral basketball sensation Mac McClung and Elon basketball's Zac Ervin. No definite indicator of success, but seems like a lot of D1 talent per capita coming from that place.

Our TF RB Martin Lucas from that general area (Abingdon). Lucas looks like a bruiser, Jenkins the speed guy.

It is a LONG way from Williamsburg. I used to visit there a couple times a year, during my time with J&J.
If you go directly North, from Gate City or Covington, you end up in Detroit, Michigan.
