Thanks for the list. Unfortunately, a few listed have committed, but not to Eastern.
You are correct, Ken. That said, we always start late and finish strong. Why? Schools like CMU which are successful in-state usually get their commits early.
As I've said before, I think 2022 is another year for a prudent HC to hold back scholarships for JUCOs, Feb. signings and then transfers.
If I were C.C. I wouldn't give out more than say 12 scholarships in Dec. Give say 3 or 4 in Feb. and hold the rest for transfers, PWOs who earned a scholarship, etc.
We need to come up with a reasonably accurate count of TRUE SENIORS (eliminating SUPER SENIORS whose scholarships don't count) to figure out how many scholarships are expected to come open, before attrition.
Once again, I think JUCOs will be overlooked as coaches concentrate on h.s. players and immediately eligible transfers.
EDIT:
For those interested it looks like we have 121 offers outstanding per 247Sports (some may not be committable, as someone noted elsewhere).
Again for those interested, our list of offers are very heavily weighted toward MI and OH, which makes perfect sense. Heavy with IN and IL and also areas where we travel to recruit in the deep ponds, namely, Ga. and FL. I like that we have 8 offers out in IL, which has become a nice recruiting territory for us.
Maybe '79 knows/remembers which states our departed assistant coaches recruited hard.
