UT is beyond "politely asking" at this point

????

Was there something done beyond this?

The bigger issue at the moment is how many students are leaving or taking a gap because of the quality of instruction in some areas being lacking. Students are leaving in droves, and there really isn't much that can be done at this point to get them back, the admin is just looking for things that MAY keep those still here in school through the term to make sure budget projections don't completely bottom out.

Not sure exactly what you are asking here, but if you are referring to discipline under the student code of conduct (which has provisions addressing failure to comply with the agreement each student signed to follow COVID-19 protection steps), we will never know as those decisions and actions of disciplinary nature are never announced or made public due to privacy rights. Having some familiarity with previous infractions of the student code of conduct at UT over the years, including students removed from campus and other actions, none of those decisions are made public.

Not sure exactly what you are asking here,

Yeah, pronouns can throw some people.

Privacy rights refer to individuals. Universities have not been shy about saying how many have been suspended, as opposed to politiely being asked to not do again what they already had been asked not to do.

So, your answer? Has the university applied repercussions beyond asking students who violated the agreement to quarantine or has the university decided to risk the rest of the student/staff population by pretending those violators have learned their lesson, will quarantine and follow the rules n the future?

UT has never even released number of students suspended in a given year for violations of the code of conduct, so unlikely they will say how many have been suspended do to failure to follow COVID-19 protection requirements. None of us know what repercussions were applied to students and will never know.
