Who would have guessed a week ago that BYU and Dixie State (FCS Independent) would be the last football teams standing in the state of Utah.

Not just football. This has implications for basketball, too...

Oklahoma wants to play. Iowa St does too. Texas schools obviously and Kansas doesn’t seem to have been hit too hard by covid (but they have a liberal Governor). Those 9 could do it. West Virginia is so far away...

It does not matter what the teams want, it is the Presidents that vote. They have their neck on the line and they are not risk takers.

That is correct. BYU had 3 PAC12 teams on their pre-season schedule. That won't happen now--soon basketball programs will be scrambling for games like football is right now.

Troy (Sep 26), Houston (Oct 16), and North Alabama (Nov 21) all at home.
