The Big Picture is there arent any games to be had for UConn. Most every conference has made it clear they are going with conference games only---or are only adding one or two OOC games. The universe of viable alternative games has collapsed for UConn. For everyone else---I suspect there will be a season this year (too much relies on it)---I just dont think it will last very long before it gets shut down. Without a quarantine style bubble---its going to collapse due to team infections, game cancellations, and 2 week team wide quarantines that affect not just games---but practice as well. If the season lasts more than 3 or 4 weeks I'll be surprised.

On behalf of AAC. LOL but thanks.
Great that you can still laugh at this series of clustered clusters.

Got to laugh or you will cry. Just glad UCONN is helping AAC teams with their revenue problem.

Teams will certainly try. There will be a lot of pressure on Athletes to not do what baseball did, but there will be an attempt.
How far it lasts is anyone’s guess. But there’s too much money on the line to not play, especially for schools that don’t have large TV deals

So I need to move my Europe trip again for the 3rd time to November? They are waiting to open up their borders until after our election I guess.
The US passport is basically worthless at this point. But yes.. all about our election

No, it will just be put in its proper context, which is that it is non-fatal for 99.994% of the population.

CV-19 is a pandemic posing a serious health risk - particularly to the elderly and people with pre-existing medical conditions.
The goal is finding the optimal means to mitigate the spread while balancing the costs until the availability of treatments and a vaccine.
The costs of shutdowns include increased suicides, more overdoses, delayed acute and preventive medical care, resurgence of diseases like TB, decreased government revenue for programs directed to the poor, ineffective schooling for kids, etc.
Unfortunately, there is no easy solution. Fortunately, the modern age allows people fearful of taking risks unacceptable to them to stay at home.

Trumpers can only regurgitate what Trump says and ignore everything else. This pandemic could cause QoL medical issues for the rest of people’s lives but because they’re not dead the entire thing is a liberal conspiracy.

How much did UCONN pay to leave early. Thats what hurts UCONN the most? I really don't know and everyone is talking about UCONN so can't google.
Pay $ for season where you will lose more $ due to refunds on tickets and no media deal. Ouch that's gotta hurt.

99.95% I stand corrected. The other figure is based on global population. The greater point is the same - the entire country does not need to be shut down to be safe.

For the record I’m not in favor of shut downs but until people want to take responsibility for their mouth, nose, saliva, etc that might be the path we have to take.
