We need to study this and create the best name!

My proposed name for the Washington Football team is the:
WASHINGTON SCOUNDRELS.

The name is in honor of all the politicians, special interests groups and the Deep state in Washington D.C. :>)

What is your proposal?

Non PC names are also welcome.

I like Red Wolves, DC Sentinels, and Wolfpack.
I'm probably very much in the minority, but I'm not even against Washington Football Team. I think there is a chance it sticks if the team is good. If bad, get it out of here.
I like the temp uniforms. Love the simple numbered helmet. With some tweaks, I wouldn't mind it sticking around.

I think they are 100% going away from anything with any possible NA connection. Part of why I don't think they are going with Dan Snyder's 1st choice, the Warriors.

Yes, War Pigs is a serious suggestion. Could also go War Hogs or Warthogs, but I prefer the reference to the Sabbath song. Razorback is too SEC. War Pigs is a little humorous, but I think its one of those that is unique in a good way and easily marketable.

Warriors is the obvious choice, but agree, its too similar to Tribe etc. Redhawks keeps the feathers.

Sentinel works, but seems too clean to me. Ive also heard Generals being floated, which I also like, but the reference to the Globetrotters beatdowns is a negative. Mascot could be "General War Pig", which gets both done.

I like the Red Skins.

Colors stay the same. Logo now includes a red skinned potato on the helmet. Instead of bothering with the Oneida Nation, we are now part of the OreIda Nation.

You can do the same with the Red Skinned peanut, but it isn't quite as funny, and not sure what nation we are part of. Opens up the usual comments from the peanut gallery

I’ve re-thought my previous support for “Washington Dish Soap.” My new brainstorm is the “Washington Schnauzers!!!”
