NU postpones Varsity Fall sports
I didn't see how NU could ...

That said, I don't get JMU, UNCW, CofC and Elon trying to make it happen.

RE: NU postpones Varsity Fall sports
Well, if basketball does start up in the second semester that makes predicting the starting five a lot easier.

Things are very different in the northeast compared to the south when it comes to infection/mortality rates. In many ways its like two different worlds at the moment.

That said, I agree. I still find it alarming that UNCW is a full go for fall semester on campus classes to begin on Aug 19 and for fall sports to be a full go as well. Quite a high % of UNCW students and student-athletes come from the northeast. They especially can't be feeling too comfortable about this.

NU is having students on campus in the Fall as well.

My concerns are the athletes. Just look and see how many football players have tested positive the last few months.
