Yikes. Good thing is that was a very long trip. Probably the most expensive travel games on the schedule.

True but a loss of a game hurts and I was going to watch.

RE: MEAC cancels football season
So if we assume everyone else follows suit and only plays conference games, what do we do?
A suggestion if I may. To my knowledge, there are four independent FCS football schools, Dixie State, Presbyterian, Robert Morris and Tarleton. Presbyterian is in South Carolina and RM is in Pennsylvania. I am assuming we all know where Dixie is since they are in the WAC. So let’s play a 6 game season with a home and home for each team.
At least we get to play something.

The four independents form a mini one year football conference, set up testing and health protocols, and lets play some football.

Don't forget our WAC independent bretheren NMSU will be needing to schedule games. FCS/FBS, they might need anything they can get. We're already scheduled Dixie at home, but we could do an in-season HH. Could do the same with NMSU. I'd love to see Tarleton whoop up on both of 'em.

I see no issues.

Travel. If we do have season, I'm 99.9% sure it will be regional in scope.

Dixie and Tarleton play twice, home and home. Same for Presbyterian and Robert Morris. Then travel to either Presbyterian or Robert Morris and home against the other. Not likely to happen but that eases the travelling.
