Negative Nelly is back!

I get what you're saying, but, with everyone back, I think BU can make another good run in the conference and again be respectable outside of the ASUN (I'm not expecting an NIT title or anything, for the record).

The casual fan may have been surprised by the Knights last season, but I doubt that the ASUN coaches were; so I don't think BU's style of play enjoyed any "element of surprise" last season that it won't have in year two in the conference.

It will be interesting to see if anyone departs voluntarily, opening a spot for a transfer to help on the size and/or quickness fronts.

It’s not just a hint. Earlier in the season when those 2 games were cancelled Scotty said on his weekly TV show that both would be on the schedule. Look for Iona to be on the schedule as well.

Yep, but good to see this is still the case.

On an unrelated note, pretty cool that George Suggs was promoted to head coach at McKendree.

Breaking news (and, if this is an April Fool's joke, it's rather elaborate): Pedro declares for the NBA draft and won't be back:

Guess we'll have that opening some were hoping for -- some big scoring shoes to fill.

Pedro was the one guy I was worried wouldn't be back. There were some times in the latter half of this season when it seemed like Pedro was carrying the offensive load for the entire team on his back. When the motion offense wasn't getting any layups and when Dylan was stymied by tall guys double teaming him near the basket and CJ was being "bird dogged" at the 3 pt. line, Pedro going one-on-one was our only scoring option.

I agree with you. He did carry the team at points Sometimes I think it hurt because he tried too hard and didn’t let the game come to him.

Good luck to him. Players declaring for NBADraft is a new problem we will have to contend with as a D1 school.

That leaves two scholarships open. Hopefully Scotty can grab some heft and size to beef up our rebounding.

Looking ahead to next season I don’t see how Ben Johnson won’t have a starting spot.

Was interesting to see that NBA analyst Mark Deeks named Pedro Bradshaw as an undrafted prospect "worth following."

Still imagine that Bradshaw will at least start in the G League™ or a top overseas league. Would be cool to see him go far.

Saw where Pedro was the 10th pick (Jazz) in the second round of the G League draft. Would be surprised if he returns to BU next semester or season.

Pedro is playing, and scoring, for the Jazz's G League team.

Yep, ongoing big discussions about conference realignment on the main part of the ASUN™ board:
https://csnbbs.com/forum-322.html

Oh well, I wish the conference could bring in Murray State™.
