Yeah, the aerosol spread is an obvious part of playing a wind instrument, so there are pro studies happening currently in MD & CO to help scientifically pin down what our approach should be moving forward. No word on results from either study yet though.

Yeah - A bit surprising one day a zoom meeting talking about the upcoming year, and 2 days later a zoom meeting in tears saying she could not afford the area. Certainly sad to see her go.

As I told my wife - when Prince William goes to a 2 day a week live class format, it will be super challenging to even have band.

Will they schedule all band members on the the same two days? If so, you only have 2 days of live classes and so much will be used for music?

This pandemic causes "so many issues" with everything.

Hyper - btw DJll made first chair PW all county Baritone - sadly the concert was cancelled due to the schools closure. 03-weeping Now his freshmen year is in question.

Congrats on his accomplishment! Despite the cancelation, that’s still great. I suspect the cost of living was just a small part of the equation for Julie. She student taught at one of the best band programs in the country out in Broken Arrow. I was pretty surprised when she came home at all. Patriot hasn’t had stability since David moved up to admin. Hope that someone comes in to stabilize things for DJII’s sake.

Yeah, performing arts classes are going to be tough this fall with the amount of online instruction expected. Stinks for everyone & the programs will suffer even once a vaccine is widespread in 2021.

On a related note the Patriot League has canceled all fall sports but are leaving open the possibility of playing them in the spring. No decision on winter/spring sports. Looks like the dominos are being to teeter a bit.
