Can this be true?
Record number of admitted students for fall semester

Hope it’s right. Maybe more students don’t want to make the long trip to other schools with COVID 19 out there

RE: Can this be true?
Covid is actually going to make education more convenient (although perhaps not quite as impactful), so I am not really surprised.

This is true. They also had a huge increase in applications but obviously they can’t accept them all. However they’re only admitted and not all of them have accepted it. So cross your fingers that most of them end up coming.

RE: Can this be true?
Back in my dad's generation you had young men coming back from the war and off the farm, and the social aspect of college probably was a necessary part of their education. The situation obviously has changed in the intervening generations, and remote education is adequate for a large part of the curriculum.

This could be absolutely great news!

Exactly, I was accepted and admitted to every college I applied to, but I went to only 1.

However I hope a record number of applications and admissions will carry over. It could be students are choosing UALR where they can live safely at home rather than not so safely in a dorm.
