Only one WAC team in the last 9 years has dethroned NMSU for an NCAA Bid - Bakersfield. And Bakersfield followed that up with a run to Madison Square Garden for the NIT. Rod Barnes will have them contending in the Big West.

Big West won't be complete until they add the Banana Slugs. 02-13-banana

Joining alongside the Banana Slugs (UC Santa Cruz) will be - wait for it - Chicago State.

Chicago State is a CSU so you still maintain the CSU/UC balance
