Unlike Bowdoin College, sports are a big deal at Morehouse.

It looks like college football will take a hiatus this year.

While Bowdoin may not be good at football, they do have one of the top D3 women's basketball programs in the country. Field Hockey has four national titles since 2007.

I wouldn't say sports "aren't a big deal" at Bowdoin. Football isn't a big deal.

Protesting is much more important to both their conferences anyway.

RE: Morehouse cancels fall sports
I expect a lot of D-II schools will shut down athletics. All the public California D-II schools have. D-II Athletic Departments are not driven by revenue, as they are basically institutionally supported (and at a much lower level than D-I), so it makes sense to just shut it down for now.

I expect this at the High School level everywhere.

Fundamentally we have failed to contain the virus, and I mean failed at every level. It's a society wide failure.
