Really disappointing for those students. I suppose the point is to limit the number of people that use the field on gamedays. Still, band members practice their craft year round. It's a shame they will not get to perform for an entire season.

How many bands travel in the AAC to begin with? The SMU Mustang Band isn't going to Philadelphia or Orlando anytime soon.
