We should just kick Tulsa out now. Either that or change their mascot to a Dr sporting an N95.

Lol. You've also been in conferences with Dayton, Depaul, UAB, North Texas State, and Bradey. I'd say we're an acceptable institution comparably.

Lol. Don't forget, Tulsa was also in that conference with North Texas. Tulsa is struggling financially, and your athletics are down. Even though UNT is in a lesser conference, we are growing our athletic programs at a pace few others in the G5 can keep up with... including Tulsa.

I'm aware. But I wasn't desparaging North Texas. (Don't neglect the fact that tons of other private institutions and states at large are going to have trouble in the coming months)

Oh, I agree. Every athletic department is being forced to alter their plans. If things drag on, the landscape of college athletics could look very different in a few years. Some institutions will come out stronger, some will come out weaker, and some might not survive.

Yes but Tulsa was having significant budgetary issues before covid. It's going to be interesting how CFB looks this season. I'm still planning on attending most of our games, Tulsa & @ECU are the only ones I wont be able to make.
