As much as I want Liberty to win the ASUN baseball and softball championships, I won’t be too upset if they don’t. Both LU teams are virtually a lock for at-large NCAA Tourny bids. It would be nice to have two more ASUN teams involved.

Again, I disagree. Given this crap conference, we have to win or there’s no guarantees whatsoever. Like I said before, look no further than field hockey. Ranked #5 in the country, failed to win the tourney and were snubbed.

And in addition to this horrific conference affiliation, we still have the stench of “Falwell U ” about us. Don’t give anyone a reason.

Stetson picked up a great win today against Florida. Well done. There have been a few big wins OOC.

I have loved my time here. Love the outdoors... Ozark Mountains (hills really), Roubidoux Creek, Big Piney River (both with good fishing).

I’m fixin’ to retire though and will be moving to Lynchburg in a few months.

Thought about moving back home to KY, but think God is taking us in another direction right now.

Does anyone else think it will be bad optics for the ASUN if Jacksonville (15-32) wins the tournament and gets the auto bid.

Now, it will be great for them and show grit and determination.

Jacksonville has had the best five year league winning % (Not counting 2020's aborted season) of any ASUN team so it's not like they lack a pedigree. They beat UF & FSU this year, stomped FGCU in a best of three series, and will have beaten Liberty twice and UNF to win the championship. Besides it will give the ASUN two NCAA tournament teams when Liberty is extended an at large bid.

Perhaps if they had a single player on the All ASUN 1st or 2nd team the optics would look better.

“Think”… it would be a horrible look for the conference. Honestly I think it would lead to Liberty missing the post season due to the lack of competition in conference.
