I wish all of you and your families to have a great day today. Enjoy it! I also give thanks to any of you that have served, or continue to serve in our military and coast guard forces. Both of my grandfathers served in WWII and my dad and one uncle served during Vietnam. I have always appreciated our vets and the sacrifices they made for our country. We plan on having my mother-in-law over [my second mom] and do some grillin' and chillin'. Sitting out on our deck will be on the agenda and I'll probably watch one or two classic war flicks. Best to the Board!

This is one of the more neccesary holidays; you really can't find enough ways to thank those who've sacrificed on behalf of others. I hope the weather holds out and everyone can get some grilling done today.

I would like to take a moment to remember those who served, were members here, and are no longer with us.

I know of two:

Ctipton - Chris Tipton
Subflea - Chuck Saffell

Both server their country with distinction and were valued members here. Heart felt thanks to both of them.

Does anyone else know of any others who should be included and thanked?

Great post! Chris is somewhere on a Hawaiian cruise. While Chuck is in a submarine sporting a C-paw hat.
