So we're working on putting together some great content for everyone here -- it has to do with highlighting some Tribe Football legends from the past.

However, as you can imagine, some (read: a lot) of info is not on the internet (not where we can find it, at least). If anyone here could help answer any of the below, it would be greatly appreciated!

1. Glen Bodnar -- what was his: height and weight (can be approx)...?

3. Dave Conklin -- what was his: height and weight (can be approx), ...?

5. Mike Tomlin -- I'm estimating his height/weight at 5'9" 175 back in the W&M days...sound accurate?

See info in Bold. I will also PM you with some pictures.

Also estimating Dick Pawlewicz at 6'0" 225 lb.

If we can't dig anything up, I'll assume that was the # he wore at W&M.

Seriously, guys? Estimating players' height and weight? Your estimate for Tomlin vice the listed size shows the problem with that (although, granted, we all know that many times the listed size of a player is inflated...but guessing it is even worse). Also, assuming a player wore the same number in the pros as he did in college is a bad assumption. In this internet age, any "fact" found online takes on the aura of truth. Your article with players' estimated sizes could become "fact" to future folks researching the internet. I know that you can do better.

Rather presumptive, aren't we? You don't even know what we're using this for, if anything. LOL.

Ugh, people nowadays. Just enjoy good things. Appreciate everyone elses help.

I think both of you have a point. Zorch is annoyed that you dont have real info. WMsportsblog is annoyed that real data isnt available. Its quite telling that the only available information on Tribe sports history is coming from a blog (no offense) digging up this info.

Where is our Athletics Department in this? If history and tradition exist to separate us from the ODUs etc, why is it not "out there" in the public eye? Without a currently relevant athletics program, we should be doubling down on the history to show that we SHOULD belong with some of the bigger boys, whether they like it or not. It certainly wont hurt. Keeping it in the closet is the absolute last thing that should be done. The Tribeathletics webpage is lacking. The entire Athletics dept is collecting a check and not producing any product right now. Sitting by the phone waitin for the A-10 to call us like a pathetic ex girlfriend? Why are the various wikipedia pages outdated and sparse? Show some pride and use this time to our advantage to spruce up the place.
