As far as this particular building is concerned, I'm sure the thought behind the design of the roof was to mimic the north end wing-shaped grandstands of your football stadium. I've seen better buildings, but I've also seen worse. Your football stadium already has the distinction of being the first newly-constructed college football stadium in the nation to be awarded a LEED Platinum Certification, the highest level of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. So for someone to pick on the appearance of a golf practice facility is petty.

Some ODU posters don't care much for the Texas programs, and especially UNT. This guy has become my personal troll, and he'll nitpick anything North Texas does. Personally, I find it kind of pathetic, but we do live in a free country, and it doesn't effect anything we are doing.
I'm not a big fan of this particular design either, but the facility will be an important asset for our golf programs. Thanks for the kind remarks.

What an interesting dialog to run across this afternoon. It sure is easy to get under the skin of some of you ODU fans. I guess I have two personal trolls now. I am truly flattered.
Yes, I do take the idea of regionalization personally. It is not in the interest of North Texas, and it isn't in the interest of C-USA. And, since ODU has been playing in the FBS for about half a minute, I see no reason why anyone should respect the realignment agenda being promoted by ODU's AD, fans, or surrogates. Basically, I think regional conferences would kill G5 programs. If ODU wants to throw their athletics down the toilet, that is their choice, but I will continue to express my belief that C-USA should not join you.
