UConn unable to recruit Connecticutt high school football players
UConn did not sign a Top 20 Connecticutt high school football player in 2020. In fact, UConn did not sign a single Connecticut high school football player in 2020.

UConn's 2020 football recruits came from the following states. It appears UConn relies heavily on high school players from the southern states.

Florida 6
Georgia 4
South Carolina 2
Alabama 1
Texas 1
Total: 14

States with 2 players: California, Canada, Pennsylvania.

States with 1 player: New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, New York.

Total: 25 players

Is this even considered smack talk since they're no longer a member?

I don't understand, UConn FB is awesome, sooooo much better than anyone in the AAC... just ask the guys on the Conference Realignment Board (who are not fans of UConn).

LOL right, the screwy math they're attempting is hilarious as well. Apparently UConn is going to be getting close to 20 mil with their tv deals now that they're out of the AAC 01-wingedeagle

They literally dodged a bullet by missing out on Aaron Hernandez.

We've got a couple coming from Avon Old Farms in 2021, one of the better local programs actually capable of producing FBS talent. One is the younger brother to the backup QB at Clemson. He has a lot of ability but is undersized so he's only rated as a 2*, despite his backup being a 3* in the same class. The other is a 2* as well, but he has some real speed so he could be a weapon.

I'm hoping we found a couple diamonds in the rough.

Lil T Phom is severely under-rated. P5-quality player.
