I think just W-L is a pretty hamfisted way to look at SoS, but there you have it.

Word is ECU just passed 15k season tickets. It's crazy what even a mediocre season can do.

I think Sagarin rated Navy's schedule as 46th toughest for '21. The straight win/loss had it higher than that. Just at a glance, I think it is a tad bit friendlier for '22.

My very simple minded analysis for the '22 is that the team should be a bit better (especially on offense, maybe regress a bit on D) and the schedule is not quite as tough - so I am thinking 2-3 more wins on the year. Of course maybe more if things break right or less if they break wrong, that is baseline.

I thought USF might steal a game or two, but with Bohanon out for the year, they might not win a game in conference.

ECU has plenty of fans to fill the stadium just like they did years ago when they were playing better football. Win and they will come back.

LOL. That story came out in May. None of my friends ever heard of the guy. Never was a first stringer, and nobody can recall him playing. Must have blossomed after he left us.

They have to got to do something. It’s getting ridiculous. The less oversight there is in college football, the more brazen these people get with their tactics. And at the moment there is very little oversight. They really need to create a governing body in college football separate from the NCAA to address these issues. More people need to speak out like he did and Coach Dickert of Washington State. If they can get enough coaches, AD’s, and others talking about all of this tampering going on, then they’ll eventually put a big enough spot light on it that can’t be ignored any longer. I am a big fan of Coach Traylor already.

Traylor was an extremely good hire. His UTSA teams have been tough, and their games with UAB have been close and hard fought.

As to the NIL, it's the Wild West out there. Good for him for making a stink and not just taking it.

There needs to be some guidelines. Right now it’s a free for all, that won’t last. I can see this ending similar to a contract, in which a player signs a four year scholarship to a school and if he wants to transfer out, the other school would have to buy out the scholarship contract.

I agree. Something like that needs to happen. Let's just hope that in their attempt to fix something they don't make it worse. Less is more.

Pratt announced that he will return to Tulane for 2023. So did our star center (underrated position imo). Recruiting class is currently #65 nationally and isn't done yet.

Another 10-2 regular season is no longer unrealistic.
