Alabama vs. TCU
This was posted on the main board but is certainly SEC-centric. Not sure why a WVU has the down low on the situation, but still interesting.

Other games potentially impacted (mostly just a list of western non-conference games):
Week 1: Florida vs. Eastern Washington (especially if the Pacific group all falls in line)
Week 1: New Mexico vs. Mississippi St.
Week 1: Nevada vs. Arkansas
Week 3: Colorado vs. Texas A&M
Week 6: Fresno St. vs. Texas A&M
Week 4: Vanderbilt vs. Colorado St. (?)

The biggest issues are in Week 1, which could easily be cancelled and just have an 11 week season.

Texas A&M could be hit hard with two such games impacted.

It is going to get interesting.

There's been some back chatter about it here and there. Also, Cowherd was talking about it on his show yesterday apparently.

There's also talk that Alabama could play BYU that first week, but TCU is a very reasonable substitute given all the factors.

Maybe a team like Florida or Miss. St could play BYU. That could be fun.

Other options:
Michigan is scheduled to play Washington
Arizona is scheduled to play Portland St.
LA-Monroe vs. Cal Poly
Idaho St. vs. Fresno St.
ND St. vs. Oregon

Why not Michigan vs. Florida, TCU vs. Alabama, and Arizona vs. Arkansas? I know that is probably too many marquee matchups for Florida (who already play FSU) and Arkansas (who are also playing ND). But it would be a lot of fun, and certainly make some money, especially if MLB can't get its act together and college football becomes the first sport to play.
