GCU to the MVC?

Needs to be a public.

If it's right away probably Murray State. But if the MVC takes their sweet time the field opens up. Personally I think UIC would win a drawn out evaluation (never too many Chicgo schools) against Milwaukee and NKU, even UTA --who seem to be looking at football, raising questions about their basketball effort as far as the MVC is concerned--.

I’d say they aren’t going to add anyone else.
As conferences move to 20 game schedules 11 is a perfect number for a round robin play.

I think the private schools will block any football schools.

MVC has to protect their conf tour in St Louis.
Murray St has the travelling fan base.

I would like to see what Denver could do in a better conference situation, but I suspect that Murray State or UIC are the likeliest choices.

I went to ISU undergrad and Bradley post grad. I donate to both. If they associate with a for profit university i wont give either a dime. Im not trying to be rude towards GCU but I am not alone. Also I have no inside knowledge, but on GCU in specific I can confirm wont be happening because I am not alone in my feelings.

Not happening. They really bring nothing, the MVC isnt desperate, they expand to improve. UDM is a good school and if thy sky fell on the MVC id happily welcome then in, but until then it wont happen.

My Blue Demons would likely struggle as much in the MVC as they do in the Big East.

I voted Murray State but I'm biased toward Belmont. Sharing a league with Murray indirectly makes Belmont hoops better.

UIC intrigues me. I followed that program somewhat when I lived in Chicago.
