NCAA Board of Governors votes to approve athlete endorsement deals
https://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa-takes-bigg...53420.html
Quote:The Board of Governors has instructed each of the NCAA’s three divisions — Division I, II and III — to move toward drafting a specific rule structure with the goal of formally adopting new legislation in January ahead of the 2021-22 academic year.

In a press release, the NCAA laid out specific “guardrails” it is requiring for “future name, image and likeness activities.” In addition to avoiding school and conference involvement, the NCAA wants to avoid using name, image and likeness activities “for recruiting by schools and boosters.”

Thanks. I needed a good laugh. We can always count on the NCAA to give us one when they go into spin mode. This story I think sets a record for the use of cliches about "student athletes" and "amateurism". It could have been written for The Onion.

And the biggest things that folks want (NCAA Football 21) isn't gonna happen based on this.
