Some very good talent coming in this year!

I played tournament and school ball against Perquimmans as a kid. Interesting related fact, Catfish Hunter’s son was playing for Perquimmans back then. Tough player. I remember playing LF in a tournament once against him and he won the game in extras with a blast. You could tell right off the bat it was crushed and gone.

Excited to see Thach coming to UNCW, and his bright future. I know Perquimmans is a 1A school, but that kid just seems like a generational talent type, and hope he keeps progressing!

I may have said the same on the last page too, but I don't think classification matters as much in baseball. The Cubs just took a kid from NC with their second pick; he spent his last two years at IMG, but his first two years at 1A Mt. Airy HS. I think the excitement for Thach is justified.

Seems like we have legit reason to be excited about several of the incoming arms.

Agree on the excitement. I don’t want to jinx it, but I’m also hoping to be in a place where I can catch a lot of home games in the near future. Probably not next year, but the following year. Im due to leave Arizona next year in early summer.

I think so. I don't follow recruiting as closely as I used to, but this seems to be the best class we've had in a decade.
