I think we all remain far too hard on Clark for what happened against Texas A&M. I highly doubt he coached the boys up to fumble the opening kickoff.

We were 10-16 on third down that day. We were very close in total yards. We were not highly penalized, although of the 6 penalties we had against us, one was extremely questionable. They also had one penalty against them all day. We had trouble stopping the run as the game wore on, and we turned the ball over two more times. That game was way closer than the 21 point final score, and I actually thought Clark went in with a really solid game plan. Tennessee was a joke last year. I hope we don’t ever show up to a stadium and do whatever that was again.

Yeah the Texas A&M game wasn't that bad. We played pretty good against MS St when they were good in clark's first year too. But otherwise we've been awful in these buy games.. I still can't believe how bad we played against UT..

So, out of four games, 2 have been okay and 2 have been awful?

1 ok, 1 subpar/barely ok lost by 21, 2 absolutely obliterated didn't even show up, UT total embarrassment against a team that wasn't even that good

the miami will be better then TN ,,,,we were inexperience that year and the cusa championship west was the priority .....(not the TN ),,,we end up getting it THE CUSA west because the other team give it to us
Dont forget that we play well against a legit 25 ranked team during the bowl game ,,,with a not to healhy running back and qb

I can't pick UAB for the simple fact that we haven't beaten a P5 school on the road in a loooong time and that was a different regime.

Until we pick off Miami or one of these upcoming P5 schools on the road, I have to take the bad guy as much as I hate to do it....

We played well the first two-three drives and then were completely dominated against App state.

3 turnovers to 0 in that game too. We aren’t good enough to be a great team doing that, even when jumping out to an early lead.

In case anybody missed it, UT at the end of the year was much better than UT early on. Had we taken that beating against them early in the season it’s different then when we took it.

There were some "head scratcher" calls by the officials in the App. St. game as well.
