I'm doing study on the ACC...to learn the history and personalities. An interesting video on the backstory behind Bobby Dodd and GTech leaving the SEC over the 140 Rule. Is this guy pretty spot on or not?

He covers all the main points. I wish he would point out how the SEC ultimately backtracked on the 140 rule quite quickly. I do not think it is an accident that the games Radakovich scheduled against the SEC were Miss State, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. They played Vanderbilt probably a half dozen times and Miss State a home and home and the first NY6 Orange Bowl. Ole Miss cancelled when it became an option GT team and Hugh Freeze was coach. A rescheduling attempt was made but that too has been long gone, along with an attempt to play South Carolina around 2022-23.
