I answered. Id’a preferred 12 teams. And I may prefer Independence.

Did anybody else do this? What were the results?

I just did it. I said I preferred independence. My nine other potential conference members would be App State, Marshall, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Texas State, North Texas, Louisiana Lafayette, Arkansas State, and Southern Miss

I wanted a blend of good football history, strong rivalries, recruiting areas, "name" schools, markets, and potential. Basketball wasn't really a factor but there are some solid programs in there. I also thought it would be important to split the conference up geographically. So while I think it would have been important to have Florida schools for recruiting, they just don't split the conference east/west well or have the historical results of an Arkansas State and Southern Miss.

I did it a while back. Either Liberty didn’t have enough responses by their fans to be included or literally no fans of the other teams wanted to be in a conference with Liberty.
