RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
We can’t get good teams to come to our campus. There’s too great a risk of losing.
The best games we’ve had in the last 5 years have been Houston and Georgia St.

Liberty will play at Missouri this season.
Missouri play AT LIBERTY next season.
Then Liberty goes back out there the following season.

I saw that. Two home, two away. I like it! Finally getting some respect. Hopefully we can translate this to wins and further respect.

RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
I decided to put this question here for next season.
With NJIT leaving the ASUN, how does that impact the conference MBB rankings? Better? Worse? No difference?

NJIT spent 5 years in the ASUN, won 20 games twice, lost 20 games twice, and only once had a winning record against the conference. I wouldn't go so far as to say addition by subtraction since they weren't the worst but they didn't really pull much weight either so I don't think they will be missed from a competitive standpoint.

Morgan St. is coming to Lynchburg this fall. Details still to come.
Also will be playing an exhibition game against Winthrop at the end of Oct. at their place.

Things are definitely coming aong on the new arena. Interior cam is boring at the moment, but you get a good idea of what it will look like when everything is finalized: Arena Interior Camera

I think Bellarmine will take up any competitiveness that NJIT had pretty quickly. After the transition, I think they easily surpass NJIT. I think we are in good shape as a conference.

Wow! What a great schedule announcement. We play Purdue with an opportunity for Mississippi St. or Clemson.

RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
Ending the season with Bellarmine, eh? Guess we may be matched up as rivals for now. What other pairs make sense as rivals?

RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
UNF vs. Jacksonville
Stetson vs. FGCU
UNA vs. KSU
LU vs. oLU
LU vs. BU
We obviously need at least one more team.
I’d prefer seven more.

RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
I think the conference nailed it with us opening and closing the season with Lipscomb and Bellarmine. It should always be that way (oLU then BU, or BU then oLU).

RE: 2020-21 BASKETBALL SEASONS
So what’s the deal with the basketball schedule?
Did that tournament we were gonna be in get cancelled?
I only see info on our conf. schedule with no OOC games anywhere.

There's probably just so much in the air with so many leagues & states wanting conflicting things, unfortunately.
