How good are Hopkins, Range, and Gaffney?
These three seem to be the only ones from last season's squad to meet BCG's standards/demands. Are they legit D1 caliber players? Do you see any of them being present or potentially future stars for the Texans? Or, will they be overtaken by Gillispie's new recruits? Any Gillispie recruit standing out in practice at the moment?

Range and Hopkins were considered the future of Tarleton Basketball before BCG showed up on the scene. I'm glad to see he feels the same. Both are very speedy with great handles and 3-threat. True Guards. Gaffney is a lean, but strong and long-armed 4 with a high motor that can elevate quickly. He's one of the top triple-jumpers in the country, and was a highly-recruited football TE coming out of HS. He simply outworks his opponent in the paint, but raw as a scorer. BCG should have him playing to his fullest potential, which has always been considered a very high ceiling. When BCG was hired, these are the 3 players I couldn't see him letting go.
