Gets me nervous every time that I see that post. If that's all who's transferring then Drexel will be just fine next year. As long as they don't lose Walton or Wynter, they're good.

They under utilized these players. Per Verbal Commits we have two open spots available. It looks like they offered a scholarship to a PG. So they will probably look for a SF and a PG. Hopefully TJ is in the startling lineup with Butler next year.

RE: Dragons Transferring
I imagine we will be seeking a big and guessing we will be looking for another Trevor John type shooter from the grad transfer ranks. Green was a bit of surprise though his playing minutes dipped late, so the staff clearly knew. I think most figured the reason Doles stayed out was just this, so that is not a surprise.

Technically, yes. But the NBA player that you're probably thinking about is Lamar Odom. Don't worry. I made that same mistake earlier.

We only have 1 open spot unless Zach Walton is not given a 6th year waiver or someone else decides to transfer.

RE: Dragons Transferring
Drexel signed Luke House. Looks like he will be a good replacement for green.

http://verbalcommits.com/players/luke-house-pa

"Drexel has landed a commitment from D-II California University (Pa.) transfer Luke House, his high school coach tells me. A 6’5” wing from Archbishop Carroll (PA), House averaged 13 points and 6 rebounds for Cal as a freshman, shooting 42% from 3. Will have three years to play"

Does he have to sit out a year? D-II players used to have to.

Antwuan Butler is in the running to come here as well. He is a PG with Austin Peay currently.

Unless he is given a hardship exemption, he would have to sit out a year. Given that he is coming home, the exemption could be possible. The NCAA doles out plenty of them. If you go down a level, Casey Carroll and Aquil Younger are examples, then you don't have to sit an extra year.
