Too much good Bearcat news lately. The meteor is going to hit any second.
Any minute now KW will blow out his ACL and Brannen will be caught in a money laundering extortion scheme.

Guess Harbaugh doesn't weigh in on bball decisions. LOL, Great news!
@JonRothstein
Early Prediction on Cincinnati's 20-21 starting five:
David DeJulius, Mika Adams-Woods, Keith Williams, Rapolas Ivanauskas, Chris Vogt.
Bearcats should compete for an NCAA Tournament berth in 2021.

RE: 20-21 bearcats
PG - David DeJulius 6'0" JR - 25 Mins / Mike Saunders 6'0" Fresh - 12 Mins / Mason Madsen 6'3" Fresh - 3 Mins
SG - Mika Adams-Woods 6'3" Soph - 20 Mins / Zach Harvey 6'5" Soph - 20 Mins
SG / Wing - Keith Williams 6'5" S - 28 Mins / Jeremiah Davenport 6'7" Soph - 7 Mins / Gabe Madsen 6'6" Fresh - 5 Mins
PF - Rapolas Ivanauskas 6'10 S - 22 Mins / Tari Eason 6'8" Fresh - 16 Mins / Viktor Lakhin 6'10" Fresh - 2 Mins
C - Chris Vogt 7'1" S - 25 Mins / Mamoudou Diarra 6'9" JR - 15 Mins
Last year Scott and Cumberland were the only two players that averaged over 30 minutes a game... I think we will have a very nice 7-9 person rotation that has NCAA potential.

I think Gabe Madsen is going to get more minutes than that. I think davenport may redshirt

Yeah, I don't think Davenport is going to play a significant role this year with his recovery from injury, and he doesn't strike me as a wing in the way that GMadsen does either.

RE: 20-21 bearcats
An announcement that just came from UC Basketball.. tl/dr: they're pausing all season ticket renewals, upgrades, etc. They believe the NCAA will have information on the upcoming season/schedule in September.
Due to COVID-19, there have been many uncertainties and one of them being what the future holds for the Men’s Basketball season. In light of this, the Bearcats Ticket Office is going to pause on all season ticket renewals, season ticket upgrades and season ticket deposit seat selections until we have a better understanding of what the 2020-2021 season will look like.
We will be holding all season ticket locations until further notice, regardless if you have paid or not.
If you have already renewed, thank you! If you have not yet renewed, you can still do so if you like, but are not required to. To renew, please click here.
We anticipate the NCAA will be providing more information regarding the basketball season in the month of September. Once we have more information, we will be in contact with you on the implications it has on the 2020-21 season. This will include information on renewal deadlines, season ticket upgrades and season ticket deposit seat selection.

Any ideas on what to expect out of him? I wasn't overly impressed by his highlight videos but I'd also be the first to admit I don't really know jack **** about basketball.

I'm expecting him to play limited/garbage time minutes unless one (or more) of the other bigs are injured/leave the team.
Like most non-blue chip freshmen, I expect there to be quite the learning curve for adjusting to high major college basketball.

He probably should, but I always wonder about the contingencies of getting players like him to come over to the US, and if guaranteed playing time in year 1 was a part of the deal.

Not familiar with the current level of competition in Russia/International, but is the level of international competition that much lower than the majority of High School competition in the US?

RE: 20-21 bearcats
Yea, in this day and age getting any player to stay for 4 years is a stretch, let alone 5. Between transfers, going pro, et. al not likely. He has very good ball skills from what i understand as far as passing, shooting, etc. He may surprise some folks as he can play away from the basket. Typically foreign guys are a little easier to coach in terms of fundamentals as the game is different over there. We'll see. Nobody will know till they play. Nobody would have ever predicted MAW would start his first year. Just depends on team's needs.
