for the most part yes.. everyone who applied from the ole miss sanction 3 years ago got approved...yor anei has a great shot at a waiver

there are very strict rules that apply to transferring for medical reasons

generically coming closer to home because a family member is sick is a denial...darius mcniell's mother (in texas) is sick and why he transferred from cal to smu...his waiver was denied

you have to be within 100 miles of where your sick family member is..(darius is from houston..dallas is not within a 100 miles of houston)..and prove you provide somewhat regular care to said sick person ...i dont know the details of walkers case

Walker is from Orlando which is where he is going to be playing.

If he doesn’t get one something is seriously wrong. If you transfer across the US to be in the same town as your sick family member to provide care and can’t get one, then why do we even have waivers at all? So the good programs don’t miss a beat? I’m getting more sick of the NCAA by the day

Unless he get's Oregon's OK that doesn't matter. We had 2 kids transfer to be closer to home and both were denied. (Haywood and Embery-Simpson)

100% agree. Even with Precious, we struggled to score last season, for minutes at a stretch.

Hopefully, Cisse's presence in the middle, even though he's not a great offensive threat, will leave our guards better opportunities to shoot and actually make baskets.

Plus, the biggest improvement in most good players occurs between the freshman and soph seasons, so hopefully, that holds true for us.

Did you guys fill Mike Millers spot yet? He seemed do a lot of the in game coaching so I'm curious who will step up to that

Penny interviewed Antonio Anderson. He played for Calipari 2005-2009 and is currently the HC at Lynn English High School in Lynn, Mass.

but cincy is out of schollys...and no one else on roster would be an easy "push out"

We don’t have any schollies left unless we push out Doumbia or Bol, which I don’t see Dawkins doing.

Tulane can't guarantee a guy like him tournament basketball (even if NIT). I also believe that we've already snapped up a few guards as well.

Tulane has a HUGE issue at the 4/5 positions. We'll have the guards to run with the AAC - but the better conference opponents just beat this squad senseless inside.
