Campus Closures
Looks like Auburn will be closing for a few weeks.

Also appears Alabama will close down although they haven't actually stated that. They sent out an advisory to students and faculty today suggesting that it's possible and therefore anyone leaving campus for Spring Break should take their valuables and other important possessions with them. In other words, they are preparing to close and just haven't committed to it yet.

RE: Campus Closures
Vanderbilt is closed for remainder of semester — though video lectures and other forms of learning/completing coursework will be instituted. My brother teaches at VU and says the whole situation feels very odd. I have young relative who attends and has to move out of residential hall by Sunday. It's so unfortunate.

South Carolina closed until 3/31, although I don't anticipate them coming back at all.

RE: Campus Closures
Doubtful any major campuses in the contiguous USA will resume classes this academic year. Graduations/commencent ceremonies will be postponed/cancelled. Some campuses are allowing access to libraries, labs, computer centers for online classes, and administratives offices.

Most intercollegiate spring sports events are cancelled.
The ACC is expected to cancel all of their spring games. Clemson has postponed their spring fb game for April 4, and it is in limbo if it gets rescheduled (probably not).

Not an SEC school (yet?), but the University of Oklahoma has closed campus until July 31.

Rutgers (not an SEC school, yet.....02-13-banana) has closed until August 15.

Not that Rutgers is a football power or anything....but with those closures already announced....and probably more coming, I think the 2020 football season is in GREAT jeopardy (and I don't mean the TV game show!) as summer/early fall practices are pretty much ruled out as all of the spring games have been.

RE: Campus Closures
My grandson was told to clean out his dorm room at Miss State last week. He did, so I guess that's it for this semester.
