So quick question ... does Georgia Tech self imposing post season bans still count?

So quick question ... does Georgia Tech self imposing post season bans still count?
The ACC tourney is canceled.

And likely the NCAA tourney will follow.

Does the NCAA still punish Georgia Tech for self imposing their post season ban this year? Or does this still work for them?

This still counts. GT would have played yesterday if they didn't sit out. So they have sat out postseason play they were otherwise awarded. I do enjoy the NCAA getting the shaft on this. Immensely.

Yes it should count. Will the NCAA try to pull a typical fast one and make Tech fight it? I wouldn't bet against it.

Anything that gives the NCAA the “shaft” I’m all for it. GT is likely in good with the ACC commish so you’r probably good. Careful though, if a rule doesn’t fit their (NCAA) agenda they will just make up another one.
