Highly critical of Trump handling of COVID-19. If there is no college football this year, I'm not sure you could lay that completely on Trump.
However, there is no way this is justified:
The Trump administration is attempting to block billions of dollars for contact tracing, additional testing and other coronavirus mitigation efforts that would potentially be included in Congress's next coronavirus relief package, and trying to block billions in funding for the CDC https://thehill.com/homenews/administrat...ct-tracing
Billions of dollars less for the CDC, etc. in the middle of a pandemic! No one could ever convince me that makes any sense at all.
I'd like to hear more details on the uses of the funding before drawing a conclusion. Contact tracing and testing is administered by the states. They best I can guess is this would be pass through funding for the states. The states can certainly do this on their own. And, as far as billions going to the CDC, I'd like to hear what the intended use is, other than just assuming it is a good thing.
I work in local government and am seeing some of the discussion on how to spend some of the block-ish grants sent to cities and counties. At least where I am, some of the proposed spending is total cr*p. One local law enforcement organization is proposing to spend covid funds on new radios. Come on. I worry that similiar things are happening elsewhere.
We need to spend money, but we need to spend it well.

They will say they never had an issue with wearing masks, that was all just a left-wing conspiracy.

It's his choice as each of us make our own decisions. I'm sure President Trump doesn't really want to wear one or really have a need to except for a few situations. Personally I'm not looking for him
to be an example - it should have no bearing on my
personal decision. If you have to look to see if the President is wearing one or not to make your decision to mask up you're pretty stupid.
And since the big coronavirus explosion is among
Millennials and Gen Z, groups that certainly don't
skew to the Right, we know who's really not taking
precautions. So would they be looking to the President as an example? - no.

Not looking for the president to be an example is such a mind blowing statement. Presidents are supposed to be leaders and role models for others, whether they've lived up to it or not is another question, this president has failed at every opportunity he's had to be a leader and a role model. He's a drowning person in the middle of a lake right now grasping at anything he can to try and get re-elected, be it wearing a mask, questions Biden's mental state or trying to start a war in Portland, make no mistake, this person has never deserved to be called president.

Yes, the President should set an example. He certainly does for me. I happen to know that he wears skimpy thong underwear, so I started wearing it, too. However, because it does not come in a super extra-large size, I do have a problem. Once I put it on, it takes me days to find it again to take it off. Gosh, how I wish Trump wore boxers!

He only needs to lead by example if he's wearing a tan suit, saluting with a latte, or using a selfie stick. If he does ANY those things, then impeach him for being below the office of the president!

RE: Corona Virus
From Business Insider:
"Bill Gates has rejected a conspiracy theory that he wants a mass vaccination against the coronavirus so he can inject people with microchips."
There is no evidence connecting Gates to microchips, but several viral articles have made the claims. A May poll also found 44% of Republicans believe the conspiracy theory.
Funny thing is, microchips would still be better than Lysol.

Well MLB is having some trouble. 14 cases already on the Marlins. Interesting, if one player tested positive in the Korean Baseball League, the entire league would be shut down for 2 weeks. MLB can’t even make it past the first weekend.

A politician a role model? God I hope not.
Not one president in my life time and I'm an old *uck...
Thankfully my parents fulfilled that role.
And if I would have had $hitty parents I hope
I could have found someone other than a politician
to be my role model. Next thing someone will say is
politicians should be our moral compass..
I'm thinking of that old joke about knowing when a
politician is lying, their lips are moving.....
Sadly that joke is equally now applying to the media as a whole.
I'm glad I'm an old man.
