RE: 2020-21 Hoops
I too am excited for this class. Looks to really be a true rebuilding year for the first time in a while next season with our departures. But we can still compete. Hard not to be pessimistic though with how easy it is to transfer these days. The cream will usually rise to the top now which means not the CAA. As a coach keeping players around is tougher than ever and a new part of the job. Though a steady stream of transfers in and recruiting depth should mitigate that.

All you have to do a look around the CAA and survey the rosters. Who has the best returning players?

Also, NU has had a stretch of freshmen who have made an impact and made the all-rookie teams. I bet both Stucke and Hadley have a great shot of making an immediate impact.

I still think NU will be formidable. IMO this program has established a winning culture.

I've been told he might be the best of the 4 incoming recruits.

Here's what some are saying about Jahmyl ...

Yeah, I guess I'm just seeing the CAA as a whole sink lower. All the teams face the same issues with transfers now. I do agree 100% we've created a winning culture here.

Wow. Quality teams for someone who is said to be "two stars". That's pretty exciting, looking forward to learn more about him.

Here’s some video clips of Telfort with New Hampton’s championship run the last few months.

https://www.thehoophustle.com/news_article/show/1099820

And here’s the NEPSAC AAA championship game btw Telfort’s NH team vs Brewster

RE: 2020-21 Hoops
This is what we have as of today ...

G - Soph. Tyson Walker
G - Junior Shaq Walters
G/F - Freshman Jahmyl Telfort
F - Redshirt Sr. Junior Greg Eboigboden
F - Freshman Coleman Stucke

Bench ...

F - Redshirt Jr. Jason Strong
F - Freshman Alex Nwahga
G/F - Freshman J'Vonne Hadley
F - Junior Chris Doherty (2nd-semester transfer from Notre Dame)
G - Soph. Quirin Emanga
G - Soph. Vito Cubrilo
F - Redshirt Freshman Connor Braun

So we have one more scholly left. I have to think it goes to a guard (Freshman or transfer).

This Freshman class is looking really pretty good ...

After watching the game I have no idea how New Hampton won. Brewster has seven of the top eight highest rated seniors in the state. Telfort put up twenty-six points against a great team while playing completely unselfishly.

They won that game playing as a team. If they played a series, Brewster probably wins, but in a winner-take-all game, NH played better.

Brewster was loaded but NH had a few good ones beside Telford.

Alex Karaban and Matt Becker were very good to. Karaban has offers from Stanford, Indiana, and Georgetown.

Becker will be a nice get for some who will sign late.

I had no idea Jamal Mashburn's kid played for Brewster.

According to the Director of Canadian scouting ...

NU is really in on 6-2 PG Kellen Tynes from Canada.

Has offers from Bradley, Charlotte, So. Illinois, Cal State Fullerton among other mid-majors.

This would be a great get to backup and play along with Tyson!

Hmm.....those offers don't match up with Verbal Commits......and if you go to, for instance, the Bradley message board there is no mention of him.

Wiz...are you saying that this is evidence that all these schools have offered scholarships? I have no idea if they have or haven't....but lots of recruits misrepresent "interest" as offers to boost their percieved value and it's a red flag if a recruit lists a bunch of schools who have offered and some of those schools don't say that they have extended an offer.

I’m just showing you where I got my info from.

I usually go by Verbal Commits or 24/7, but the Canadian hoops recruiting site was new to me. It’s looks kind of like the New England hoops recruiting website.

Okay. It's entirely possible that their info is more up to date. It's our last ship and I want to make the most of it.

I don't know much about them but it doesn't look like they have been a powerhouse in their conference. Their last year with a conference record over 500 was 06/07. I think they have a new head coach, thoigh. And Charlotte to Birmingham is drivable.
