Utah St should be in. They beat Florida and LSU and have won 25 games. I was watching Fox pregame show and they had them out and Texas in. That’s whack!

RE: Mountain West Championship: San Diego St (30-1)/Utah St (25-8)
I currently have Utah State out in my last update but there's a lot of time left. They made the final so win or lose they'll get consideration from me.

https://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2020/...ate-3-6-20

If San Diego State loses, they probably fall to a #2 seed (unless Baylor and/or Dayton also lose, Dayton would be a #2 if they lose, you can't lose at home and move up to a #1, if Baylor and San Diego State both lose I'd have to think about it). Unfortunately for Utah State, San Diego State will play for the #1 seed. Ironically if the Aztecs are a #2, they're probably guaranteed the West Regional while as a #1 seed they need Gonzaga to lose.

They have 23 D1 wins. Of the 23, only 4 are Quad 1 and 2 wins- and 1 of those- vs North Texas- could easily go away... 2 Quad 3 losses.

So no they shouldn't be in.

USU is the first bid thief of the year...

Someone wrote earlier this week that SDSU might be better off losing and being the #2 seed in LA instead of the #1 seed 2,000 miles away, and they’ll probably get that West #2 seed now.

There will be two teams from the MWC in the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, SDSU is a #2 seed out west, playing in the sweet sixteen in LA.

I believe that's absolutely right. SDSU won by losing.

SDSU will sweat out their seeding, if they care. The big news is that because UTST was unlikely to make the tournament at-large, someone's bubble just burst.

Lunardi's latest take is that this will happen; SDSU gets the 2-seed in the West and Dayton gets #1 in the East if they beat GW (Dayton leads GW by 19 as I write this).

Looks like Lunardi has Tulane in along with Houston for the AAC, despite with a NET of 75. Hum.

For those who follow his/these predictions, are they ever accurate?

It was Tulsa. They were due to the fact that they were the conference leader, so thus, the auto bid.

Given Baylor's recent losses, not this year. Kentucky probably gets one of the top 4 seeds (if they win the SEC tourney).

Lunardi has both Florida St and Creighton ahead of Kentucky. If that's what the committee is thinking, then (presuming any of them would pass SDSU by winning a tournament title) Kentucky would need to win the SEC while neither FSU nor Creighton wins its own tournament. Might also need Baylor to not win the Big 12 tournament.
