RE: Article - Which Mid Majors are sleeping giants?
The article has been posted in other threads here, and I don't blame you for not trying to dig into the various BBall themed threads here. It all reads like a Sylvia Plath book of poetry. Hopefully that belief exists in good quality coaching candidates, and they look past our (not so) recent history of badness to come to Harrisonburg.

thanks hawk. supports what i have been saying. the garbage posters on here that believe our job is not attractive are clueless. heck, the writer only touches on half of our advantages. talk to any coaches in the know and they cant understand our lack of success.

this thing is poised to make a decent coach look really good.

Here ya go...when is the admin going to actualize what we know to have been true for many years?

I will hold on to this article for much longer than a month, I will pull it out in 3, 5 and 10 years from now.

Lets go Dukes.

With the new arena, IF powers that be invest in winning, such as paying well for head coach and having a better assistant coaches salary pool, yes JMU can quickly emerge as a solid mid major. BUT that IF is A BIG IF.
