I took a picture of Maddie after the game on Sunday that really expressed how I think a lot of us felt about leaving the "friendly confines". It's a pretty good pic but I have no idea how to share it on here.

20 streamers shouldn't ever get a technical!04-cheers

Key word shouldn't. It happens. We all know the quality officials the CAA gets.

Quite a few people threw streamers before the end of the final men’s game. No one seemed to care!

Might need to post it online somewhere and then use the Insert Image button on full reply screen.

Fan's stand until the other team scores.

I can't tell you how much I use to hate standing for the first 5 minutes will the other team was piling up the points on us. I wouldn't mind standing up all the way to a 15-0 lead.

Back in the Lefty days, we used to stand and yell the entire game. Literally. I can't tell you how many times I went home with no voice. It was called the Electric Zoo for a reason. It was really, really loud and obnoxious.

And it would get eerily quiet when JMU was shooting free throws. I always thought that might freak the other team out more if we did it to them, but whatever. We won at home a lot.

You need to aim for a Cameron Crazy, non-stop noise kind of atmosphere in basketball.

RE: New Basketball Tradition?
Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the Crazies have rules as to what they can and can't do in the stands? They seem pretty well organized for a rooting section made of college students that may or may not have had some liquid fun before the game.

To get an engaged student crowd JMU would have to fix their error of seating configuration. The seating chart for the AUBC has students quarantined on one baseline.
Either you want to maximize home court advantage or you do not. It is very telling of the administration’s lack of desire to win.

Ask any coach or the players if they want students around the court or not. Of course they do. JMU does not.
