If we win the battle of the boards and take care of the ball, we should win.

JMU has a bunch of guards (Lewis is a real good one) who will make NU pay if we turn the ball over.

The Wilson kid is really the only forward NU should be concerned about.

RE: JMU
Another good road win vs JMU.

NU now comes home for 3 against Elon, W&M and a national TV game next Thursday vs Hofstra.

It would be great to be 4-0 before the Hoffy game...

Any win on the road is a good win! Positives...Brace came alive again...Tyson had another super efficient outing (fifteen points on six for nine shooting and six assists)...and a double double for Walters...although I'm happy that someone told him to stop the behind the back passes can someone tell him to stop shooting threes? He was one for four tonight...and a couple were WAY off...and that twenty-five percent performance IMPROVED his season three point percentage. I love the way he runs the floor, rebounds and passes the ball but let the other guys shoot threes, please. [/i]

Even the one Walters made I was like "No, no, no ... okay."

I would like to see Emanga get more time on the floor.

Franklin is a horror show against athletic guards. He scares the hell out me.

NU is home for Elon, W&M and Hofstra on CBSSN next week. It would be great to be 4-0 before the Hoffy game.

Wiz.....I said the same thing as we were watching the game....after three bad misses. I'm liking him as a player but he needs to let our three point shooters take those shots.

And I would like to see more of what Emanga can do, too. He should get a shot at Franklins minutes.

The one problem with Franklin sitting is that we really don't have a backup to Tyson.

Which is the only reason why IMO Coen has him as one of the first guards off the bench when Walker sits.

Agreed...but what would we do if he was injured? Roland would just fill in at PG while Walker got a rest. Maybe Myles is just going through a bad patch. There have been games where he played better.

RE: JMU
NU got a win at Matthews vs JMU 77-57.

Guilien Smith had a game and season-high 20 points and Shaq Walters had 15.

Tyson Walker is out with an arm injury and probably won't be back until the tourney.

NU didn't get any help tonight as CofC came back to beat Delaware and Towson won at Hofstra.

NU still clinched a bye in the tourney and they end the season Sunday at home vs Towson.
