WBB: Troy & Coastal getting love in Coaches' Poll
Troy and Coastal Carolina women's basketball are starting to get some recognition in the USA Today Coaches' Poll:
Troy checking in with 2 voting points (#30)
Coastal checking in with 1 voting point (#33)
I'd say between the two of them, whoever wins out the regular season, AND wins the SBC Tournament, could potentially go into the NCAA Tournament as a Top 25 team.

No chance of that. Troy is #47 in the rpi, Coastal Carolina #78.

I was hoping that one of those teams could get an at-large, if we (Little Rock) got hot and win the tournament. But Coastal has no chance with that RPI. Troy might have a very slight chance if they win out until the tournament final and a lot of other things fall right.

I'm just not sure if Troy's RPI will be able to go much higher based on who we have left. The only thing that will help us is it's all road games.
I don't think Troy has enough high-RPI wins to be an at-large. Our win over Coastal looks good, and the wins over Bethune-Cookman, Kent State, and UTA are okay. We bungled our chances though when we lost a tough game to Duke. Had we won that, it'd be a different story.
