Crazy Hockey East
Despite the awful series against BC ... NU (21 pts) got some serious help this weekend.

Merrimack swept Providence ... That helps us big time.

UConn with the swept BU. That keeps both those teams in shouting range, especially BU (23 pts).

The two UMass teams also splitting this weekend is helpful. This also keeps both those teams in range.

Maine, who is in 2nd place, has two games left this season, both against PC.

The only team that did better then we did this weekend was BC, who will probably clinch the Hockey East regular-season title.

The bottom line, if NU sweeps Vermont next weekend and BU the following weekend, they possibly end in 2nd place.

Bananas!!
